Pelham Manor Corruption Clean-Up Continues.....

Pelham Manor Corruption Clean-Up Continues.....

..... Residents to seek Court Removal of Trustee Neal Schwarzfeld

Residents of Pelham Manor, disgusted in their village's management of their local government, have been meeting around town.  They point to disgraced former mayor, Bertrand Sellier, as "one of the lightening rods that symbolizes a corrupted government," and according to one longtime resident, adding, "Sellier knowingly lied and misled the residents of Pelham Manor." ..... MORE .....
"Another lightening rod of self-dealing and corruption is trustee Neal Schwarzfeld, and he's gotta go."

The Village of Pelham Manor voters made it clear in the last election that while the "ladder system" may have worked in the past, the proper actions and integrity of local leaders were more important that the coronation of select insiders to become the mayor.

Specifically, trustee Neal Schwarzfeld had "worked" his way "up" the ladder system and had expected to become mayor.  Initially, it appeared that Schwarzfeld would become the next mayor by default, by being the only choice for voters on the ballot.

But then the voters' disgust swelled, and one hapless example of mismanagement followed another. One outrageous incident involved the Mossielo/Ruggerio/Pierpont lawless cover-up of events surrounding the Pelham Manor Police Officer Michael Tillistrand accident.

And Neal Schwarzfeld was the Police Commissioner at the time of the Tillistrand accident and cover-up.

A group of residents are getting ready, just like the citizens of Monticello did in recently insuring the removal of Gordon C. Jenkins from his elected position as Mayor and Village Manager of the Village of Monticello.

They point to New York Public Officers Law, Section 36, which states as follows:

“Any town, village, improvement district or fire district
officer, except a justice of the peace, may be removed from
office by the supreme court for any misconduct,
maladministration, malfeasance or malversation in office.
An application for such removal may be made by any citizen
resident of such town, village, improvement district or fire
district or by the district attorney of the county in which
such town, village or district is located, and shall be made
to the appellate division or the supreme court held within
the judicial department embracing such town, village,
improvement district or fire district.  Such application
shall be made upon notice to such officer of not less than
eight days, and a copy of the charges upon which the
application will be made must be served with such notice.”

For now, the group is focused on Neal Schwarzfeld's "now long-established history of condoning, and in fact encouraging, unscrupulous conduct that such actions and inactions connotes a pattern of misconduct, abuse of authority and gross dereliction of duty.  This petition will present a catalog of Schwarzfeld’s acts and inaction in four generalized categories of "Removable behavior.... including, documented obstruction of governmental administration....bid rigging, ticket-fixing ...the creation of a hostile work environment and wrongful influence, and other offenses regarding the Village of Pelham Manor Trustees and Employees, and residents and visitors ... committing the Village of Pelham Manor to Millions of Dollars worth of unnecessary liabilities and expenses, and all funded by the taxpayers of the Village of Pelham Manor."

We are informed that numerous attorneys have been interviewed for the filing of the Schwarzfeld Removal Petition.  We are further told that more information will be released for posting for the public's review.

We have also been asked to spread the word that if anyone wants to sign-up as another "co-petitioner" in the Schwarzfeld Removal Petition, send a confidential email to this site at PelhamManorNY@gmail.com, and you will be put in touch with the attorneys/petitioners.

Stay tuned.......

  1. It's about time ! There are a few other clowns that need to go also - ESPECIALLY JOHN PIERPONT and Fire Thief Ruggerio !

  2. It's a drastic remedy but surely necessary. Neal Schwarzfeld was a trustee and the police commissioner when the Tillistrand criminal coverup was advanced by Mossiello, Ruggerio, Sellier and Pierpont. Schwarzfeld has also wrongly kept quiet about all the other criminal acts of Ruggerio, Mossiello and Pierpont. Can they also take his law license away?

  4. Airmont, New York has nothing on Pelham Manor. The NY Post headline is "Mobster's grandson elected mayor of New York village"

    http://nypost.com/2015/04/26/mobsters-grandson-elected-mayor-of-new-york-village/

While the now-mayor/grandson of Vinnie THE CHIN Gigante appears to be an upstanding guy, the whole Gigante family would be in fear if they had to deal with the thugs that have run Pelham Manor.

Mob boss John Pierpont has assured his underling Neal Schwarzfeld that he'll handle the new mayor Lapey. (Don't believe this? Ask around !)

The Pierpont Schwarzfeld mobsters know how to set someone up to take a nasty fall. (Too many examples to list here) You watch, it'll happen- Pierpont and Schwarzfeld will arrange a massive embarrassment for Lapey.

    1. You hit the nail right on the head. Shame on the mayor if she thinks she is smart enough to figure thier plots out. Pierpont has done it to other mayors before Mrs Lapey and they still do not know what happened. Mayor you have been warned. Get yourself someone you know you can trust to watch your back.

  5. Why don't you put all your energy to good use and volunteer for the Planning Board? How about Zoning? Eventually, you can become a Trustee and Mayor! Even, Police Commissioner! You have all the answers so step up and make your views known in the real court of public opinion instead of a cowardly blog.

    1. Have you not read all the blogs? Or are you just stupid? You see what happens to people when they cross Pierpont. The writers need thier jobs. You just do not get it.

  6. Dear 7:04 AM, no one pretends to have all the answers.

You obviously don't believe public employees need to be held accountable for their misdeeds, or that certain connected people should get away with breaking the law and treating employees like they were scum.

Many people disagree with your type of thinking, like the many hundreds who voted against Schwarzfeld. Get your head out of the sand. There are wrongs that need to be righted, and they will be, with or without Mayor Lapey.

Schwarzfeld could come clean and be part of the clean-up, or he can be removed and leave in disgrace like the bully Sellier. It's his choice, I guess.

Meantime, I've already advised that I, as a resident of Pelham Manor, will glady add my name as co-petitioner in the filing to remove trustee Schwarzfeld.

I have talked to a handful of PM police officers, and other people in the know. What happened with the Officer Tillistrand accident is horribly wrong. I'm not a lawyer or cop, so can't say for sure if it is criminal.

I am embarrassed for my village that certain administrators have acted the way they have. It's simply wrong.
